National Health Action Party announce their support

National Health Action PartyThe National Health Action Party have announced their support for the Campaign for the NHS Reinstatement Bill 2015.

“The National Health Action Party fully endorses the principles and objectives of the Pollock/Roderick NHS Reinstatement Bill. This is in keeping with our policies to support an NHS that is publicly provided, publicly delivered and publicly accountable. This is the only way to ensure that the NHS delivers a comprehensive, free at the point of use service to all citizens, regardless of their ability to pay, in a sustainable way.”

Caroline Lucas MP supports the campaign

We are delighted to announce that Caroline Lucas, Green Party MP for Brighton Pavilion, has announced her support for the campaign.

“The NHS is in mortal danger and we need a Bill that will protect it now and for future generations.  It is vital that we restore the NHS in England as a truly public service, both publicly funded and provided.  The assault of the Health and Social Care Act 2012 was possible in the context of more than two decades of policies that commercialised and marketised the NHS.  To protect the NHS for good, these policies must be replaced.  This is an excellent Bill that seeks to restore the NHS to the truly public service that is so close to our nations heart and it has my full backing.” Caroline Lucas MP, 2nd Oct 2014
